Who am I?

I'm currently working towards an undergraduate degree in both English and Comparative Literature (Film Studies- shhh!) at the University of Washington. Two days after my birthday (June 3rd), I will officially be done with my English degree requirements. However, I won't be blessed enough to graduate a mere ten days after my birthday as there is one class I need to complete my Comparative Literature degree. Up until May, I was excited about returning for another term and enjoying a few more classes before I graduate. However, as soon as I learned that the one class I needed wasn't offered Fall Quarter '04, my excitement was quelled.

I may not be graduating ten days after my birthday, but on the same day I will be on a plane leaving Seattle and going straight to Rome with a one hour delay in New York. I'm thinking of reading Les Miserables while on that flight- translated, of course, since I opted to learn the language of my pre-Nazi forefathers.

Did I mention that I work for a Jewish organization? It's really cool. Not only do I understand Yiddish (it's very close to German), but I also get free soda, junk food, and bagels when I work since the building is kosher and I can't bring in outside food. I also get to sit in front of the world's slowest computer and answer phone calls from people who think the world is going to end, New York Jews who expect me to be their travel agent, and really nasty people who are angry at me for trying to help them complete their scholarship applications.

My life's goal is to produce awesome works of literature that mean something to people. I then hope to establish myself as one of the "great drinkers" and maybe even get my own shot glass sold in a set with Hemingway, Faulkner, Wilde and Parker.

Meanwhile, I spend my time procrastinating on both homework and making my life's goal a reality. I also spend my time with my very old but very cute dog and a boyfriend named Tyler. Sometimes I even leave the dank recesses of my apartment and visit various friends.
